Hi everyone,

The Constant Guard™ program released the latest version of Norton™ Security Suite (NSS) today – Norton Security Suite V6 powered by Norton 360 V6 technology. A new update has been released, Norton Security Suite v6.2.1.5.

If you're a new customer, you can download NSSv6 through Constant Guard™:

http://xfinity.comcast.net/constantguard/

If you are running NSS v5 and wish to receive the update, visit the Norton Security Suite Update Site, or open Constant Guard™ and click on the Norton™ logo.

Please note: a reboot will be required. We also recommend that you run LiveUpdate to receive the latest smaller updates and definitions.

To verify you have the update, launch the Main User Interface, click on Support, and select About. The version number of the new release for Comcast Norton Security Suite will be 6.2.1.5 (2012). You may need to run LiveUpdate and reboot your system a few times to get to the latest version.

We know you have been waiting a while for this update, and we appreciate your patience while we worked to provide you with a high-quality product. NSS v6 includes many new features that our customers find to be valuable. These include:

·         SONAR 4 – Updated and more robust reputation scanner

·         Support for the Google Chrome browser

·         Download Insight performance ratings

·         Performance improvements

The distribution of the Comcast Norton Security Suite 6.2.1.5 patch through LiveUpdate is temporarily halted due to a patch distribution issue. We are currently making the proper corrections to ensure that all patching issues are resolved. 

If you have already received the Comcast Norton Security Suite 6.2.1.5 patch, you do not need to take any additional action and will not experience any inconveniences due to this. 

We will update when the distribution issues are resolved and the patch is available again.

We've just released Norton Security Suite 5.2.2.3. This update fixes a few toolbar issues, including the autofill issue seen with Facebook.com. To receive the update, simply run LiveUpdate and download the update. A reboot will be required. To verify you have the update, launch the Main User Interface, click on Support, and select About.
