Comcast Norton Security Suite

:manfrustrated:After paying for Norton for years, I fell for the siren song of Comcast offering free Norton for changing to Comcast as my ISP. But they are much slower about processing updates when Firefox is updated. And their "product" doesn't seem to be the same thing as what you get when you pay for a regular Norton subscription.

So now I have one of my three PC's (running Windows XP) that has the antivirus and spam programs are turned off. When I go to 'settings' and turn them on, they do not stay on. I have a red X on my icon. I guess I need to find out out to remove the Comcast program and re-install a clean copy. I believe I saw the instructions for a clean uninstall and reinstall. Can someone point me to that place?

Thanks.

Hi,

Here's some FAQ courtesy of Yank - http://forums.comcast.com/t5/Security-and-Anti-Virus/Norton-Security-Suite-FAQ-s/m-p/870723/message-...

I hope it helps.
