Norton 360

Currently I use System Mechanic and Zone Alarm Security Suite.

Thinking of replacing Zone Alarm with 360.  Must I also uninstall System Mechanic?

No need to uninstall System Mechanic as no compatibility issues are reported with Norton 360 till now. You can go ahead with removing the Zone Alarm security suite and install Norton 360. If you face any compatibility issues with System Mechanic, let us know and you can uninstall it.

Does Norton 360 include essentially all the System Mechanic functions?

Norton 360 does not have all the features of System Mechanic, but have essential tools to tuneup the computer.

I've been running System Mechanic (basic) and 360 together for a couple of years. I have the System Mechanic auto scans and the system protection module turned off. I haven't had any compatability issues that I'm aware of. The System Mechanic registry tool did remove some Symatec keys that were needed for 360 Help to work. Since then I've not let the System Mechanic registry cleaner make recommended registry changes. It also doesn't recognize the firewall in 360; so, you'll get an alert until you suppress it.

I probably won't renew my System Mechanic license when it comes due.
