Re: Complaint

I have always used "live chat" for any issues and have found them to be most helpful:smileyhappy:

Can you tell us the nature of what you want to discuss since there are different places to go for different things ..

We are all real persons here so we may be able to sort some problems out for you .....

What is the product concerned if it relates to that?

Thanks I hope so. I have spent 3 hours trying to speak to someone. I downloaded |Norton 360 from online. It then took ages to load order. When it did finally do so it said I had already put it onto 2 computers and had only 1 application left. I had not. How do I sort this?

I assume you literally mean "to speak" -- ie by phone. All the user feedback here would confirm that phone and email can be slow but that OnLine CHAT is quick and painless so please try to contact them.

A mis-correllation between the central database and "actuality" is not unfamiliar, most often because of reinstalls on a computer that has had be be re-formatted or otherwise totally cleaned since even normal Windows Remove Programs leaves traces partly for example so you don't have to reenter the KEY if it's a simple re-installation of the product or to stop people from repeatedly reinstalling a limited period trial version ....

This is quickly rectified by the OnLine Support people who are used to it:

To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there.

You can choose CHAT or Email; email or phone may have a long wait time and feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.

Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.

Please leet us know how you get on. If by any chance there is still a problem would you please come back and say so. Do not post the case number ID but keep a record of it since we can get one of the Norton Management to ask you for this by Private Mail -- the List Private Messages  up top right on the page here -- and follow it up. But I hope that won't be necessary.
