Credit Card not in drop down menu

Hi,

After the last update, my credit card is no longer in the drop down menu "Identity Safe".  Before, I could select my credit card to autofill all my information (address, e-mail, credit card number) and now its gone.  I tried duplicating the card and entering a new one, but they are not there.  I really miss that autofill feature.

Thanks for any help

Re: Credit Card not in drop down menu

Did you installed the update over to old installation, or did you used the Norton Removal Tool before installing the new one?

Here's what you should do:

1. Open the browser you use

2. Click on the Norton button on the toolbar

3. Click on Edit Logins

4. On the new window find the login that has the issue

5. By Addresse click on Edit, and copy (CTRL + C) the link

6. Do not modify the link: Click on Cancel, then close Logins window

7. Paste us the link with CTRL + V

Re: Credit Card not in drop down menu

Well I think I figured out the issues.  It seems in the new version that choosing the identity card is not always available.  Now it only comes available if you are actually in a 'pay' area of a webpage and then only if there is a credit card involved.  This sucks since I used to use it to autofill everything that wanted my name/ address/ e-mail. ;(

Hopefully they change that feature back to how it was because I used it all the time.   I had some screen shots but I guess we can't attach pictures.  But it shows in one where the "identity card" is not available to click on with a page that is only asking for name, address and e-mail (no payment) and then where it is available on check-out page where credit card info is needed.  I just hardly ever use my credit card (usually paypal) and didn't notice it until I actually used my credit card for an online purchase.

Re: Credit Card not in drop down menu

Hi Humvey,

The Identity Cards will be availabe in the Identity Safe toolbar drop down, only when you are in a form page like a sign up page or a billing page or a page that has some form fields to fill. This behavior is the same from N360 4.0.

It is not that Identity cards will be available only in pages that need 'Credit card' info. It will be available in other registration pages that are recognized by Identity safe as form pages as well.

Can you please navigate to some registration page say, gmail.com or ymail.com and then click on 'Create Account '. See if the Identity cards are listed. Just to confirm that Identity cards are not only listed in Billing pages that require credit card info but in other pages that are identitfied as form pages as well.

Other than that, if you are experiencing card autofill probelm in some particular site, then it should be  a site-specific issue. If so, please let us know the URL of the page which Identity Safe did not recognize as a form page to be auto-filled so that we can analyze it.

Thanks,

Umai
