Now that there is no Norton Anti-Spam folder in outlook, and since most "good" email would be moved to the inbox by clicking "this is not spam", wouldn't it make sense to have the junk email folder permanently delete the items when you click "empty spam folder" instead of moving the emails to the deleted item folders?
If you right click on the junk email folder and click "empty folder" that is exactly what happens.
One less mouse click.

That would be a required Microsoft change to Outlook rather than a change to Norton.
