Deleting Norton 360 Installation Files

I was looking at my Norton Installation Files folder on my desktop. I've had N360 v6 installed for a couple of months, and it appears to be working fine. I've always deleted the folder from my desktop, but it appears that the folder is just a shortcut to C:\Users\Public\Downloads\Norton\*, which has my installation files going back to when I first installed N360 v4 on this PC. I assume that it is OK to delete these files, correct? If I have to reinstall, which is unlikely, I can download them again. The Norton folder is taking up 400MB on my PC. I bet most people are doing like me and only deleting the desktop folder.

It would be nice if Norton prompted us after a period of time to delete the installation files. They take up a lot of space.

Re: Deleting Norton 360 Installation Files

Yes you can go ahead and delete these files. As you noted, you can just download again if you have issues.

Re: Deleting Norton 360 Installation Files

Hi java Geek,

Yes you can delete as other person said but make sure you have registered to Norton Account in case if you need to download later to your computer you can use Norton Account to redownload it.

Hope this helps and let us know if you need any further help.

I appciaite if you can revert back if the issue is resolved.

Regards,
