I use Norton 360 which does a great job of controlling pop up ads. However, I'm noticing more and more "cover up" ads, those that cover all or a portion of a Web page. For instance, when I go to a financial Website, the cover up ad may be an ad for a bank. Other times, a small cover up ad will appear which will ask me to participate in a feedback survey.
Is it possible for Norton 360 to eliminate these cover up ads as well?

Yeah, Internet Explorer is not really good for granular control. One thing you could do would be to ramp up the security setting for the Internet Zone, or make a customization to disable scripting in that zone. Then add all of the sites that you regularly visit and need to work properly to the Trusted Sites zone. For most people, this is not really a practical solution either, but it is all IE allows.
