Am I infected with Malware or what?  Norton 360 is update and scan finds  0 issues as of 3:00pm 12/8/11.

I ran  Malwarebyte that found and removed 4 adware.gamevance items from my registery.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Emails from me but not sent by me

Hi sunybeet1987,

This is just spam.  Delete them.  Do not respond.  Do not open attachments.  Do not click on the links.  If your ISP provides a Spam filter, use it, as they are generally quite good at keeping obvious junk mail out of your inbox.

Are the messages addressed from you?  If so, it may be that your email account has been compromised and spammers are either using the account or your contacts list to send spam.  Or, one of your contacts had their email account hacked and your name and address were harvested, and the spammers are forging your address in the "From" field on messages they are sending from an account other than yours.  Are you getting any undelivered bouncebacks or messages from your contacts about the spam?  At this point, any number of things might be going on but almost none of them would involve a malware infection on your computer.  In almost all cases, these things are hacks of online accounts that do not involve the user's PC at all.  Please report any other suspicious occurances if they occur.  To be on the safe side you might want to re-secure your email account, just in case it has been compromised.  See the following for some steps to take:
