For whatever reason the only setting that is active is Identity Protection. All the other settings are greyout out and not accessible. Anyone know how to make these accessible?

Are you talking about on the main page? Identity is active (Yellow and says Protected in Green) and the other three are grayed out? If you clickon one of them can you see the other Options? If so try to click on View Details - it may give you an indication of what's going on.
BTW - doeuble check to ensure your license has not expired.
Let us know what you find and also any addtionaly info if you are not talking about the main page.

Not talking about the main page. Im talking about the settings tab accessed from the toolbar at the top of the main page which then takes you to detailed settings. Antivirus, firewall, Anti Spam, My Network, Parental Controls, Tasks Scheduling, Admin Settings, and Backup Settings are all greyed out. Identity protection is the only one I seem to be able to use.
I just bought it - so its not a subscription issue. Thanks for any help

OK - I see what you are saying now. On the main page, bottom left how many days does it show left on your license - or does it possible say Activate - renew or perhaps even trial ??
Please let us know what you see - also was this an initial install of Norton, did you have another Security/AV installed prior to installing N 360. Is this a new system that may have a trial AV installed? Please give us some more background.

Are you using a Standard User account? You need to be logged in as an Administrator to access those settings.

As far as subscription:
Subscription Status:
728 Days remaining
On the administrator side - I tried running the program as a windows administrator and that didnt change anything.
If you are talking about something else im not sure.
Thanks for all the help! :)

You need to actually log on to a Windows User Account that has Administrator privileges; the 'Run as administrator' command won't work from a Standard User account.
Please confirm that what you are seeing is this (ignore the red circle in the picture):
Norton 360 V6 Standard User Settings Access
In order to have full access to the Norton Settings, you need to log out of your current Windows Standard User Account and then log on to a Windows User Account on your computer that has Administrator privileges. This Administrator Windows User Account would typically be the one that you would use when installing new software.

Hi EagleJoust,
I hesitate to mention this (so as not to confuse the issue), but once you get all your settings back to useable, there is a setting available that would permit non administarator Windows Accounts access to change settings. The below setting is located in Settings > Administrative Settings > Product Security > Non-Admins Access to Settings - chnge to ON > Apply
Non-Admins Access to Settings | Lets you access and configure all the options in the Settings window from a non-admin user account as well. By default, this option is turned off. You need to log in to your computer as an administrator to turn on this option. You cannot access the Settings window if the Settings window is opened in some other user account on your computer. |
