Error : 3039, 65543

All of my options to fix this error or either not working or not clear! If there is an issue with an system update, it would be nice to have an sollution for that in plain talk!

Thanks,

Shaun Spotts

Re: Error : 3039, 65543

The solution suggested on page:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?docid=kb20110217225158EN_EndUs...

does not work.

I did not install any kind of antivirus software recently. The error started to show suddently, without a reason. The SONAR seems to crash few minutes after startup of the OS (Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit in my case).

Welcome,

Can you confirm that Microsoft Security Essentials has been uninstalled? Do you have a copy of Malwarebytes free scanner found here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free ? And have you updated it and run a full scan?

The other possible solution would be to save your identity safe data and do a control panel uninstall of the product, reboot and reinstall it. Run live update until the program tells you that all updates have been downloaded and installed.

Hope this helps
