While browsing the web, I keep receiving this error message...
"Error: "3048,3" appears on Norton 360 version 6.0"
I'm not sure if it's being caused by an update, scan, etc...
Have closed all programs and restarted, no luck fixing it.
Anyone know of a way to fix this, and if it's a major issue?

as restarting the computer as suggested is not solving the issue, you can try to reinstall the program, details in the page

Plese see my post here regarding a similar situation on NIS 2012.
The info ccla provides is your next step, since you have already restarted, however, my post goes one step farther if you need it.

The problem might be with the updates also did you try running Intiligent updater..
It has worked for many of the error like this.
