Per your first instruction:
Please download http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-re
Cannot do, he cannot get online for 3 seconds before the virus pops up and takes control.
Could he do this part on someone else's computer? Or at the library?

You just need to download it to a Flash Drive.

Hi,
I ran FRST64.exe with all whitelist boxes checked and the list files box checked.'
Attached is the FRST.txt file (renamed to FRST - Copy-all boxes checked.txt).
Tried to run FIX, but FRST64 could not find the Fix file.
Is this something you send me?
Thanks...Nick Davies

I am not touching this system, the user has gone against warnings, used advanced program(s) thus going on their own.
The warning is on this thread,
ANY other user other than the thread starter is not to use any instructions, scripts or proceedures, The work though in cleaning a system is individual and only for that system due to a number of factors.
Not only that but the user tried further "Tried to run FIX, but FRST64 could not find the Fix file"
I do see what is wrong or at least some of it, so Good Luck.

I Got this garbage virus today, It gave me the white screen of death. Reinstalling worked for me. I had to change the boot sequence in the Bios to boot from the Windows7 cd in the CD-Rom. I formated the C: drive before doing the clean install. This is what I've been doing for years as I have all of my important stuff on seperate hard drives. All is working fine for know, just have to reinstall a few programs.

hahahaha, reformatting to remove a Ransomware, it is easier to remove thann some families of malware.
Thanks for giving me a laugh though.

I couldn't get past the white screen where it said "this may take 30 seconds to install" of all the times I've had a virus that Norton didn't catch, this has been the process. It seems to be the quickest for me since I'm not familiar with any programs or techniques that can truly remove all parts of any virus/ware.

Use Safe Mode with Networking to stop the FBI Ransomware from running on startup, the scanners and tools can also be used.
Or
Windows 7 / Vista, use the Advanced Repair Menu and use system Restore to go back before the infection (You need restore points to do so)

What a surprise (over the last couple of days users appear to know better than me)
The above user has gone against warnings and instructions not to but also has not run the advanced tool properly either, also the user has zeroaccess in 4 different locations, fun.
Good Luck
By the way user there is a new FBI Ransomware I think is nicknamed Green Dot.
