Firewall Program Rules - Symantec Framework has Stopped Working

Norton V6.2.1.5

When I try to change the settings in Firewall Program Rules I get "Symantec Framework has Stopped Working", then Norton crashes and won't start again until I restart the system.

I completely uninstalled Norton and then reinstalled it. It then worked and I had to redo all the settings.

Two days later I tried to change a Program Rule and the same thing has happen again "Symantec Framework has Stopped Working", then Norton crashes and won't start again until I restart the system.

Hello!

It's a well-known bug (there is a loooong thread about in the Norton Internet Security sub-forum). Symantec is aware of it, apparently working on a fix, but not much has happened in a long time.

I am currently using the beta of 360 2013, and this issue is not in it. It does have a few quirks, but it is working well for me.
