Firewall blocking use of port by printer

Kodak printer set up utility reports 'installation is not complete. Your computer's firewall is blocking the port (5353) used to connect the printer (Kodak Hero 5.1) and computer'. The printer is working as I can print my network settings from teh control panel. The printer is listed in my devices and printers list and is reported as network connected. However when I select print within an application (Word) it does not bring up my printer as an option. The WiFi light on the printer indiates it is connected to the wireless network

Re: Firewall blocking use of port by printer

Hi,

One of our user had some issues installing Canon printer and reinstalling and uninstalling the product worked for him. Just have a look at this thread - http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/N360-and-Canon-wireless-printer-software/m-p/584610#M59364 and just try if that works.
