Google redirect - help?

I just ran Norton 360 full scan and Malwarebytes both in SAFE mode. There is no change in the problem.   The problem is - Open browser (firefox), do a google search, click any link in the search results and be redirected to... beesq.net findwhat.com searchformore.com or some other such nonsense that does not get me to the page I wanted.   Surely there is a way to stop this. This has been happening for a couple weeks. I can get around it by copy/pasting addresses from nmy google search, directlyinto the address box and so I haven't been super riled up about it, even though I DO find it super annoying. Today doing some research on the addresses to which I have been redirected, it appears this is not anew problem. And so I am wondering why Norton360 hasn't already taken care of it? And how am I gonna. end the problem.

Re: Google redirect - help?

Please do not run any tools unless instructed to do so.

  • We ask you to run different tools in a specific order to ensure the malware is completely removed from your machine, and running any additional tools may detect false positives, interfere with our tools, or cause unforeseen damage or system instability.

Please read every post completely before doing anything.

  • Pay special attention to the NOTE: lines, these entries identify an individual issue or important step in the cleanup process.

  • Logs from malware removal programs (OTL is one of them) can take some time to analyze. I need you to be patient while I analyze any logs you post. Please remember, I am a volunteer, and I do have a life outside of these forum, (sometimes :smileylol:)

  • Attention to detail is important! Since I cannot see or directly interact with your computer I am dependent on you to "be my eyes" and provide as much information as you can regarding the current state of your computer.

Lets try and free up Internet explorer first  just so we can get happily to sites

Delete your Browsing data,  History and cache  Or use this tool by Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 to do the job with extras for you.

Close Internet Explorer before using.
