Hi,
try this:
1. Open 360
2. Click on Restore Files under Backup
3. On the new window's 1. point click on the No backup set selected (or it will be backupsetsname on dirvename driveletter:) link
4. Set the backup you want to restore, click Ok
5. On the 2nd part click on the Browse for files and folders link
6. Select the files you want to restore
7. Select the restore location by 3. (original or new one)
8. Click on restore files
Let us know how it goes.

This is strange....
Did you do any reinstalls (windows or norton)? Or did you canceled, changed the backup sets an times?

Hello cachep
Is your External Drive connected to the computer while attempting Restore?. Make sure it is connected.
There are 3 ways by which you can Restore your files from the External Hard Drive:
1. Connect the External Drive to your PC. Open the Restore Files UI. Click on View All. It should show the Backup sets from the External drives as well. In case you are not getting them, do refresh the screen once
2. Connect the External Drive to your PC. Open the Drive folder. Double Click ARestore.exe. In the Portable Restore window, Click 'Select Files to Restore'. Choose the Files to Restore, Location and then click on 'Restore Selected. This should Restore your files
3. Connect the External Drive to your PC. Under My Computer -> Norton Backup Drive. There should be a folder named 'Backups on External Hard Drive'. This folder has the backup sets. Right Click on the Backup set and Choose 'Restore'
Please let us know if you still see the problem after trying these
Thanks
Kavitha
