How to restore just one file from a backup

I am trying to do a test to restore one file from a backup.

I went to the screen 'Tasks' 'Restore' selected type "Documents" and could see my 3 drives C: F: and G:

So i clicked on C: and drilled down, and could find the file.  So i clicked 'Select none' under that folder, and then individually clicked on the file i wanted to resore.

Before i clicked 'Restore files', i checked another folder.  ALL the files in ALL other folders were also clicked to resore.

How do i easily select 'Not to resore any other files except the 1 file i want to restore' ?

I have approx 20 folders within My-Documents on drive C: and many other folders on both Drive C: and drive F:

As far as I can remember, you should use the "search" button to find the file, then select it and restore it.

Re: How to restore just one file from a backup

Thank you for that.  I somehow missed that 'search' option before.

I guess case closed ;-)

Best Wishes,
