I installed Firefox after Norton 360...

Hi all.

I´ve installed my Norton 360 license on a new PC. I installed my preferred web browser too, that is Mozilla Firefox.

Norton toolbar plugin is not available on Firefox. I think I should have installed Firefox before Norton...

Is there any solution to install Norton toolbar on Firefox?. I´ve tried to run live update and reinstall Norton 360 without success.

I think my Norton and Firefox versions are compatible:

Norton 360 Premier v. 20.1.1.2

Mozilla Firefox 15.0.1

Thanks in advance.

J.L.

Re: I installed Firefox after Norton 360...

In Firefox, click on Tools - Add ons. Then click on the Extensions tab. Make sure the Norton Toolbar and Norton Vulnerability Protection are both enabled. You may have to restart Firefox for it to take effect.

If that does not work, try uninstalling Firefox. Reboot and reinstall Firefox.

Yes, that works.

Norton plugins are here after deleting and reinstalling Firefox after a live update on Norton.

Thanks.

Re: I installed Firefox after Norton 360...

Glad to hear you found the solution.

It has been found the order to update is to wait for the Norton update to come through, then upgrade Firefox.

If we can get Firefox to stop upgrading every nonth or so, I'm sure we would have much less of these problems.
