If any ones has any other ideas on how to fix the compatibility issue of NSS and Itunes please let me know. It will not allow the Ipad, iphone or Ipod to connect to Itunes. I have followed Apples instructutions all systems have been upgraded (Itunes, windows, NSS, etc.) Even ran extra virus scans just to verify all was good. went thru these forums and verified I added the ports correctly that appled instructed needed to be added. I have disabled NSS temporarily and gone thru this process several times with no luck. The next step will be to delete NSS. (We cannot live without out Apple products as you can tell.)
Has anyone else been able to resolve this issue or found another work around?
Thank you.

Hi tpeterson4,
In its default configuration, the Norton Firewall should not be blocking iTunes. Try using the Firewall Reset Option in the Norton settings to undo any Firewall rules that may be interferring. Have you tried all of the other steps that Apple offers for solving the many possible reasons that iTunes might experience connectvity problems? Some of Apple's resources on this:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store
iTunes for Windows: iTunes Store connection troubleshooting
iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting

Since you are having the problem even after disabling NSS, you may need to check the problem further by uninstalling NSS. You may reinstall it back from your Comcast Account page after checking. Let us know the results with more information like itunes versions, NSS version, your Operating System, when did the problem start? etc..
Thanks,

Hi, I have been reading about your troubles with itunes store access and wondered if you found any solution. I have Norton 360 6 and used to access itunes no problem at all and a coupel of weeks ago it all stopped working. I have followed suggested solutions from Apple and Norton but to no avail. I really don't know what to try next and I am not that tecchie that I want to start playing around too much in the machinations of the programmes.
Any suggestions would be sooooo welcome.
