License Count

I recently had a computer that failed and I was unable to uninstall Norton 360.  I installed Norton 360 on the replacement computer.  I have 2 computers but my licenses count shows 3 in use.  How do I go about getting this adjusted? to properly reflect the 2 licenses in use?

The easy way is to contact the Norton OnLine Customer Support Team via the CHAT route as below since they have the tools do deal with this in the central database. They are quick and friendly ...

To contact customer support Click on this link https://www.norton.com/chat   and work on from there.

Once you have done that you may like to activate a newish app called Norton Management that gives you control of this and also enables you to give user-friendly names to the computers so you don't have to guess which one is which when you have several.

I don't have N 360 installed on this machine so I can't check the menus but someone can help you with that if you let us know what Version of Norton 360 you have -- click on Support / About and the Version ID should begin with 6.nn.nn.nnn where n is a number) if you have the current version.

When you installed on the replacement computer what did you do about the preinstalled trial security application that comes on many these days? It may be necessary to do more than just uninstall it but if you tell us what it was we can point you in the right direction to deal with it and avoid problems with Norton.

Please let us know how you get on ....
