Multiple 360 Issues and Questions

1.) Norton 360 is the LAST thing to load if I simply go by the 360 icon on bottom right corner.  Is this 'normal' or suppose to do that?

2.) When I look at Norton Security History is says the following: (would LOVE to be able to copy paste but can not!)

SEVERITY: Medium   ACTIVITY: Unauthoritzed access logged (access thread data)  STATUS: Logged

          ACTOR: c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe   ACTOR: PID

            TARGET: c:\Program Files\Norton 360\Engine\3.5.2.11\ccSvcHst.exe

TARGET PID: 3316     Action: Access Thread Data  Recommened Action: None

---SO is this 'normal' is something 'targeting 360'? or does this mean something else?---

3.)  I 360 auto backup on a external HD, of course this external HD is hookup all the time, so from time to time 360 will alert me that

backup isn't complete.  So I'll plug up the external HD and back it up, 360 is it was completed and VERIFIED ----yet 360 will continue to show the 'red X' and continue to say it hasn't been done yet....-is this 'normal'????

4.) According to WinDefender SoftwareExplorer 360 is not set to 'Auto Load' ---is that 'normal'???

IF ANY OF THESE are problems or security issues PLEASE let me know how to fix them.

Re: Multiple 360 Issues and Questions

1. Go to Settings -> Antivirus -> Automatic Protection tab, and turn Early load on. This way the 360 icon will be the last to load again, but the engine will load earlier.

2. It is completely normal. Sometimes windows components try to reach the 360 exes, like when you open the main window, and 360 is just overreacting a little....

3. It is not normal... Do you have more than one back-up set? If yes, are they all run?

4. Just turn off Windows Defender, it is not a good security software, we can say that it is a crap..., use only Norton.
By the way running two different security software is not recommended, they will "fight"...

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64 Hungarian, Norton 360 v20.3.1.22, Norton Utilities 16
