N360 and Recovery D drive

I have a file called N360_BACKUP in my Recovery Drive on Windows 7 (Home Premium) Does it need to be there? My Recovery drive is almost full. (there is also a file called Recovery in this drive as well)

Re: N360 and Recovery D drive

Hi teddyH,

Welcome to Norton forum,

I would like to know about your norton 360 backup. The folder N360_backup in you recover drive shows that it is a backup set which you have backed up using norton 360.

Please check the settings under your Norton 360

Open Norton 360 - Tasks - Manage backup sets - Where(tab) - Find the location where you are backing up the files.

If it is showing that you are backing up to the Recovery drive then it is the N360_backup so It is your wish whether you want to delete the backup sets or You can create a new backup set with new location (either Online storage, C drive or any other drive on your hard disk or external drive)

Regards,
