Norton 360

Norton 360 window stopped opening.  Uninstalled and tried to reinstall with down load.  The installation stalled at "Launching Norton 360". then couldn't get response from the internet.  Was near end of year, so bought a CD and tried to install it and it did the same.  Have gone through using uninstall tool and same still happens.  When I uninstall the internet works again.  Help please!

did you tried to run the Norton Removal Tool?

www.norton.com/nrt

If not, try that, it will remove any left over/damaged Norton file that could cause this error.

Thank you for this.  Yes I have tried the removal tool many times.  I have now given up with N360 on the computer concerned and have successfully installed another product with no issues for my internet connection.
