sorry evere i jump the gune  and did not think  1st   but i do think that link  on Major Geeks sould get re move from there site ASAP so no one down lode its and think its the real deal wish its not

all I know is I downloaded the file, went thru the update process and all is fine. All the settings remain the same, it updates fine. There've been no issues whatsoever. And I really don't think the guys @ Majorgeeks would've posted it without doing their homework. Could be they know someone other then 'Tony' @Symantec!! It's not unheard of.

The only reason it has not been released is to give retailers time to move the version labeled 5.0.  Newegg has it for free with rebate.  Doing the free with rebate thing allows the old product to be cleared out while also enticing more people to try the product.  No surprising but many don't know that you can buy any version and upgrade to the latest.

well i would unstall it  its not the real deal and if you do in stall it  and un stall it later make sure you ues the norton re move tool and when  you re in stall norton v5  you and start doing the live updates  you may end up re storeing you laptop back when you 1st got it like am doing now  that progame you in stall most be some kind of bug that would  enter fear with your live updates on norton v5  if not re move the right way

so do not in stall form margreeks   and am going too wait like i sould be for the real  thing

if you are talking too be am not runing any norton 360 right this sac  am re storeing my toshiba too out of the box thanks to me that  downloded that norton 360v6 thing
