can somebody help me...!

i cannot access my norton 360...nothing also in system tray...

when i double click no window appears plss help me

nothing also in firefox...no safe sites indicator...and also in my tabs..

but norton files is in place and  nothings lacking..

pls help me im desperate and my computer is really vulnerable to virus and spyware right now...

need immediate assistance ASAP....

no protection...

got a questionable file:found in NORTON 360 primier edition file

name: isolation

type: Configuration settings(a note pad )

contains:

Welcome Charlene1434, download and install the free version of Malwarebytes Antimalware, after installation update it and run a quick scan, let the program delete any malware it finds. After that run a full scan and let the program delete any malware found, then reboot the PC, let us know how it goes.  MBAM

I downloaded and use MBAM and it found a adware in the registry keys, MBAM quarantined it and i deleted it...

but still i cannot run norton 360... maybe it related in the file ISOLATION..? i tried to delete it but it.. an error message come up.. it said right protected.. file is currently at use... so far were getting step by step solution.....! plss help me..

Hi Charlene1434, reboot in safe mode and see if you can run a scan with N360. go to start, restart, and tap the F8 key until you get the boot options menu, choose safe mode and hit enter. Run a full scan with N360 if you can.

Also please run a HiJackThis and post that log here.

Please download HiJackThis from http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/ Choose the executable and save it on your desktop. Run the file and select the first option on the main menu "Do a system scan and save a log file". When this is finished, Notepad will open with the log file in it. Save the log file and attach it to a post here via the Add Attachments Please don't attempt to fix anything that it shows until someone checks out the log. Thanks.

It looks like you are running Avast also. Two security programs running at the same time will cause problems. Avast hasn't been removed or perhaps not removed completely. I would suggest getting the Avast removal tool and runnig that a few times to properly remove avast. You also have a very old Java installed which can be a security risk also.  Besides having a u torrent installed also.

However, I'm not an expert in HiJackThis logs, but did notice those things installed. I don't know if anything needs to be done with HiJackThis.
