No Live update

I keep getting the following message: LiveUpdate library not found. Error 1000  (10005,102)

When i follow instructions to solve this nothing happens.  What should I do?  Ihave had 360 for over 2 years and this has never happened before.

Re: No Live update

I can see that you are still using Norton 360 Version 1.0. If you have a valid subscription for your Norton product, then you are eligible for a free update to the latest version (Norton 360 version 3.0). You need to run the Norton Removal tool to remove the existing version. You can download the Norton Removal tool from the link:

http://www.symantec.com/symnrt

You can download and install the latest version from the link:

Re: No Live update

Hi Katykelly,

I think, you are using Norton 360 1.0. You can try the solution from the following Symantec Article:

http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080410180122EN

Let us know the Operating System and service pack you use. If you have system requirements for Norton 360 3.0, you can upgrade your current Norton 360 1.0 to the latest Norton 360 3.0 for free.
