Right now, I am useing Norton 360 2.0.
Do I need to have Internet Security 2009 or Systemworks Premier 2009?
I know Norton 360 2.0 is older than above two. or Norton 360 2.0 supercedes over the above two.

Norton 360 has got N.I.S. 2008 and Norton SystemWorks already in it, so you do not need anything else.
And N.I.S. 2009 is Newer than Norton 360 Version 2.0, along with Norton SystemWorks as well.

Do we have to wait for Norton 360 3.0 to get NIS 2009 & Systemworks Premier components on our system?

If you want them in the framework of N360 then yes <s>
But NIS 2009 is available now freestanding with the 2009 engine and pulse updating etc and may offer more security than N360 if that is your priority. I say "may" because I'm not sure exactly how things like firewall etc compare between NIS2009 and N360V3.
NSW 12 Premier uses the NAV 2009 engine and pulse updates but does not seem to include other security elements that are in NIS.
Or you can install NIS 2009 and NSW 12 Basic which does not include NAV so is compatible.
It's horses for courses -- I think on the whole I prefer NIS 2009 and third party applications for other functions that I regard as necessary but my system is fairly complex and I like to tweak .... in principle N360 is directed to the Fit and Forget user.

Floating_Red,
You are right as a whole, however, SystemWorks is suitable for more advanced users and has more features than Norton 360:
- Norton Disk Doctor
- Norton WipeInfo
- Process Viewer
- System Optimizer
- CheckIt Diagnostics
- Performance Test
- Startup Manager (Norton 360 3.0 has it)
So vodreaux, it's up to you to decide. Keep in mind that Norton 360 version 2.0 cannot exist together with SystemWorks or NIS. Norton 360 3.0 will be compatible with SystemWorks.
