I have a Lenovo Edge laptop configured with Windows 7 Pro and use an HP PhotoSmart D110A all in one printer wirelessly conected to the laptop. All functions of the printer have worked as they should until updating the 360 to v 6.0. Now I cannot scan items to the laptop. I have worked with HP and they cannot remotely connect to the laptop nor walk me through correcting the problem. I have taken computer in for technical assistance and after cleaning off the hard drive and reinstalling everything except 360 the scan funtion has worked. After installing 360 from the CD and updating to 6.0 the scan fails. Is there a solution for this problem? Can I go back to 360 v5 ?

Go into the Norton Network Security Map and make sure the Network Trust Level is "Shared." Does the printer appear in the Map? Make sure it's individual Trust Level is also "Shared." If it still cannot connect, change this to "Full Trust."

What exactly happens when you try to run the scan?
Are you getting any error messages?
Are you able to open the Norton 360 program?
You may try restarting the computer in Safe Mode and then run a full system scan. Also, you may use the Norton Power Eraser tool: http://www.norton.com/npe to make sure that your computer is free from viruses.
