Hey guys,
Thanks for the kind comments and kudos. :)
Ceolmhor, what I found was that after going through the automated online udate process, which included downloading two utility files (see image), to update my v4+ version to 6.0 today, and letting the process "restart" my computer after the automated install, the Norton's toolbar was was completely compatible with FF11.0.
Clicking on "Check for New Version", from within Norton's 360 Mgr (screen shot), provided an upgrade link. After clicking on that link, I only had to manually save the two files in the image below, execute them when prompted, and the automated process did the rest.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Yank. I discovered that fix on my own through another thread here, but took so long rebooting that you had an answer posted before I could make it back here to say I'm now fully in business. Thanks to all for the help. :)

I'm pleased for those who got it all sorted out - still waiting to hear from doctorjeriannn who started this thread!

To all that responded: a big Thank you. Its great to know that there is such a helpful community out there. I was running short on time and patience so I called Norton support and ended up with 360 product support. 4 hours later (of removing and reloading 5.0 and 6.0) both my computers are where they should be. I wasn't sure what the problem had been so I'm unable to give anyone advice. But, when 6.0 was removed the first time, all my passwords and logins were still there! So, thanks to all of you. Jeri.
