Greetings: I Have Norton 360 Version 6.1.1.8 Installed On The Computer ... Which Is A Online Upgrade From Version 5.0 - - As The New Edition Norton 360.0 Version 6 Has Come Out ... And I Had Subscription Time (47 Days As Of Today Left On Subscription).
Problem: When I Run Live Update Or Custom Scan (Which Live Update Is Listed & Usually Ran With The Tune Ups) ... It Seems To Download The Updates ?? ... Though It Is Not Showing That I Have Updated The Definitions. ... Currently It Is Saying That Definations Were Updated 11 Hours Ago. ... Any Help To This Regard Would Be Appreciated !! ... Thanks !! ... INKY

I'm having the same problem it has been 11 hours since it show I had an update. I even tried doing a restart of my computer but that did not help.

Norton seems to be well aware of the problem as noted by the discussion on the NIS board. I spoke to Live Chat and they said a fix should be out within 24 hours.

You may still see an issue in downloading the definitions, as this issue appears to be intermittent. However, it looks to be somewhat resolved at the moment. Please let us know if you are still facing this problem.

Auto update seems to be working again but only pulling down pulse updates. Manual live update only gets pulse updates and some very minor items. Still no updated Virus Definitions after 12 hours.
