I recently installed the above product, version 5.0.0.125 on my machines (three of them, two running XP Pro, Vista on the laptop). After installation, each computer will crash windows explorer as soon as right click is pressed on the mouse. I read of this problem occurring in the past, with previous versions of 360, but can't find anything new concerning this.
Is there a fix for this bug, or will I be forced to remove the software and go with something else? FWIW, I never had this problem before, with any other security software, including other Norton products.

In the past when this has happened the root cause has been a programming error (not updated syntax) in a third party program, not in Norton itself -- I know since I experienced it back when V2 was released and worked through it with Norton here in the Forums.
The prime cause has been Avanquest's File Manager called PowerDesk and there is a fix for this that you can download from their support site which has moved to something called SoftCity.
Here's a link to their FAQs and if you have PowerDesk 6 7 or 8 you will find a reference to it in the appropriate section of the FAQs
http://www.softcity.com/support/list-faq?publicId=
If you find that running that fix file -- it is a self-extracting bat file that changes one dll file -- doesn't fix the problem with your PowerDesk follow the intructions in the FAQ on how to do it manually.
But note that if you do not have PowerQuest this is not your anwer but I'm saving time by posting the details.
I mention that because there were a couple of other programs at the time of N360 V2 that triggered the same crash but I cna't remember their names.
I hope that helps but if it doesn't apply to you let us know and we can look for other causes.
BTW I'm not having the problem on Windows 7 64 bit with PowerDesk 8 and N360 V5 .....
