Norton 360 Security History

I keep getting medium level security risks on my security history when I'm not even using my computer.  Does anyone know what this means.

Re: Norton 360 Security History

Can you please click on the More Details button on one of these items in the History, and then take a screenshot of that window and upload it here?

Or write us what's on the more details window?

Thanks.

Re: Norton 360 Security History

Actor: Windows/System32/Rundll32.exe

Target: ProgramFiles/Norton 360/Engine/4.2.0.12/ccsvchst.exe

Sorry not sure how to do a screen shot.  Does this help?

Re: Norton 360 Security History

I also have another one that is a little bit different.

Actor: Windows/System32/Services.exe

Target: ProgramFiles/Norton360/Engine/4.3.0.12/ccsvchst.exe

Re: Norton 360 Security History

Yes, it helps :).

It is nothing. Sometimes when windows eg. defragments the machine, or checks something, and this affects the norton processes, then you got these History logs. It is a simple report caused by the Norton product's own protection called Norton Tamper Protection.

You don't need to be worry, it is fully normal. :)
