Can anyone tell me if there is a way to upgrade from Norton 360 v3 to v4 without having to go back and reset all of your settings, like your Home Network Security Map, Backup File Settings, etc.? I use Norton 360 on 3 PCs in my home, and it is almost not worth doing the upgrade if you have to go to each PC, upgrade the software, and then reset all of your personal settings. I can't believe Symantec would not have considered this as part of the upgrade migration path, but I have used Norton 360 since it was originally introduced, and have not been able to find a way to save, and then import, my personal settings from one version to the next.

Hi fvastano
All you have to do is install Version 4 over the top of Version 3 and all of your settings should be preserved. You can upgrade for free as long as you have a current subscription.

Download your particular version from one of these links.

Hello fvastano
If you use the Identity safe feature, you can back up that file and then put it back into your new version if it should get lost in the process. Here is how you do it.
Please follow these instructions to save your Identity Safe information by creating NPM file.

Thanks to Yaso for the link.
If your current version is working fine, then over the top installation should be fine.
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.
