I received an update to Norton 360. I installed it. After that I could no longer receive my POP mail in Outlook 2007. If I converted them to IMAP it appears to have worked fine but I do not like IMAP because I keep getting the same messages over and over again.
My RR.com mail does support IMAP so i cannot get the mail from them through outlook.
Installed Thunderbird and it got the same problem.
ALso, got an issue saying the password and email address do not match but I can log into the webmail site for all three accounts and the email and password work great.
Any suggestions, hints, and/or resolutions for this type failure?

It sounds like your settings in Outlook may not be configured correctly to connect and authenticate with your ISP's email servers. Please visit the email support pages for your ISP and verify that you are using the correct credentials and ports that they specify.
If you suspect that Norton may be causing the problem you can turn off Email Protection to see if that eliminates the issue.
