i have had the issue with the action center saying that norton 360 was off and followed the unregistering and re-registering WMIUTILS.DLL route. This worked on rebooting but 3 days later same issue again. Did the same again and it cleared the issue, but now its back again.
Any help to permanently solve this problem would be appreciated.

can you please tell us which windows OS do you have? And which exavt Norton 360 version (main window -> Help & Support -> About menu, it will look like this: 5.0.0.125)?
