Hi PeterStidsen,

First of all, please give us a URL so we know what/which NAS you are seeking.  Then tell us how Norton is blocking it - are you getting any warings of malicious website or what?

Just for grins I tried www.NAS.com and got the following:

nothing to see here.PNG

Re: Norton 360 block connection to NAS

I'm not sure that it's a Norton-related problem.

Here is the fail: http://f.cl.ly/items/2W3G320n1i1Z2n2s2P45/Image%202012-06-03%20at%206.27.01%20PM.png

I'll try to translate it: \\NAS-B8-A9-55 are not available. Maybe you have not permission to use that network resources. Contact the servers administrator to find out, if you have permission to enter.

Logon fail: The account is deactivated at the moment.

From your error message, it is not a Norton issue.

If the account is deactivated, you need to contact the administrator of the NAS to find out why. As this is probably you, you will have to log into the NAS via whatever tools came with the NAS, and check all your settings.

Yaa sorry guys for taking your time. The problem was that i had i folder on the NAS with the same name as my account on Windows. That couldn't the NAS handle.

No problem. If you thought 360 was causing the problem I can see why you came here. Glad to see you got things figured out.

We are here if you need us again.
