Hi Can anybody help? Norton 360 freezes in the same place when doing a full scan. have tried eraser tool but did not fix the problem. os windows 7 home

you can downlode and run norton remove and reinstall tool plzs make sure you back up youe identity safe if you ues it

did not work recieved message NrNR is not a valid Win 32 application

If you are having trouble with the NRnR tool, you can do it in separate steps.
Download the Norton Removal Tool from here.
Download N360 from here for 360 standard, or here for 360 Premium.
Back up/export your Identity Safe data if you use that feature.
Run the Norton Removal tool, then reboot.
Install the correct version of 360.
Be sure to run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
Import your Identity Safe data.
Let us know how it goes.

Supoport did this for me, then I ran a full back up for several hours, then it froze up again. Any more suggestions? I can run a full back up on my usb, just not online. Running Norton 360.6 Premier , Vista OS

Did Support use the Norton Removal tool or just the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool?
Try doing my instructions as listed above and see if that fixes your problem. Even if Support did it before, it may still help to do it again.
Let us know if it helps.
