I understand version 2.0 of Norton 360 is not compatible with Windows 7. I installed the new OS last night then discovered this fact. But I have over 150 days left on my version of 360 and, from looking through the Web site, it would appear Symantec would like me to purchase version 3.5.
Is there a solution to my issue? I have no virus protection and this cannot be the case for more than a few days.
Any help would very much be appreciated.

Hi larksnest,
You can upgrade for free from version 2.0 to version 3.5 - you don't have to purchase version 3.5.
Please do the following and download the appropriate edition of Norton 360 from the correct link below and save it to your computer:
Norton 360 Standard Edition version 3.5
Norton 360 Premier Edition version 3.5
You will also need your Norton 360 product key to activate version 3.5 after installation - you can fetch your key from your Norton account:
http://www.mynortonaccount.com/
If you upgraded to Windows 7 with version 2 installed, you will have to uninstall it before installing version 3.5.
When you activate Norton 360 with your product key, the remaining number of your subscription days will be picked up automatically.

Thanks very much for your quick reply.
I did as you suggested and Norton tells me that my product key is invalid. I followed the troubleshooting link and it states that it has been registered on more PC's than allowed which makes no sense. I use 360 on a Dell desktop and this HP laptop, two PC's only and never installed on another system.
Anyway, Norton brought me to an H-P link and I tried with HP to verify my machine's serial number etc. It takes 1-2 business days to get a reply (and hopefully a fix) so I will wait.
Thanks again.

Hi larksnest,
Please contact Symantec Customer Service at the link below - you can chat with them for free - and explain the situation to them; they should be able to help you and sort out the problem. Please tell me how it goes :-)
