Norton 360 v1 can't restore from online storage

I recently had to reload XP etc on my PC and reinstalled N360 but can't recover my files from online storage - of which there are nearly 2GB. I contacted support yesterday and was advised it may be due to nickname being different. I'm sure it defaulted to PC name and it now the same as before but still can't get my files. Is there no way I can find out what nicknames have been used on my account ?  Is the name stored in a Norton file as I have a disk backup from some time ago ?

Re: Norton 360 v1 can't restore from online storage

Hi Tony,

I did as suggested in the thread listed. There are two profiles listed, one without a name and one with the current computer name. Both show the same number of files totalling 8.6mb. I can't see anything relating to the previous storage of nearly 2gb.

Re: Norton 360 v1 can't restore from online storage

NickA,

Sorry to hear you are having difficulty with your online backup. If you would like, send me a PM or email (check my profile) with the email address you used to register N360 and I will look at your account and hopefully help you figure out why you are unable to access your backed up data.

I have on two occasions come across accounts where the backup set name was somehow not being retrieved properly (as you describe). This does not mean that any of your data is missing. Rest assured anything that was successfully backed up is still there.
