Rectification you want? Forget it (wink). Nobody at Symantec even reads these threads. ;)

Having the same problem as you, and other Symantec customers. Time will tell if anyone eventually cares to address this issue. Until then, have fun looking at your blank "No Connection" gadget. I know that I am.

Blenheim,

Are you using any proxy server to connect to the Internet?

Please try uninstall/reinstall using the Norton Remove & Reinstall tool:

Let us know the results.

Thanks,

No server is used, the program LiveUpdate updates without issue, have used Remove tool and reinstall without success.

Thanks Harry, I have rerun the Norton Remove & Reinstall tool and now the sidebar gadget is performing as designed.

Re: Norton 360 v6 sidebar gadget

I posted this in another thread on the same issue.  I hit support on the main screen and then get support on the drop down.

The program ran autofix and the gadget came alive full of icons that work.   I've since rebooted and powered down and it's still

working.  Hope this is of some help.
