Hi ! So I just bought Norton 360 ver 2.0 and I can't get it installed onto my laptop. Everytime I try installing it, it'd freeze my whole computer, which is usually at the point when it's about to finish installing [past the scan]. I'm not sure if I have viruses because I tried lots of different programs and all give different results. Help please. Thanks[:
Also, my laptop runs on Windows Vista and I'm sure it meets all the requirements of the program.
Okay. Well I just noticed a icon, and I clicked on it, and it's Norton 360. But it says "At risk" for every section, but I didn't finish installing it =O.

Hi Cici,
Welcome to Norton Community!
Provide your operating system details, and also whether you have any other Security programs currently installed in your computer.
You can try the Clean Boot mode for installing the software. A "Clean Boot" starts in normal mode, but without all of the background applications and [non-Microsoft] services that you usually have running. Read this Symantec Support Article for more information on performing Cleanboot. You can revert back to normal mode after installing that software(steps are included in the same Support Article). Let us know the results. The link is for Windows XP, let us know if you are using Windows Vista. I can provide you the necessary steps.
