All of a sudden now, I can't open Norton 360 v5.0. On the logo on the taskbar, it shows the norton logo but instead of a red X or orange exlamation mark, it shows a grey circle with a white slash through it. I can't open it or run scans and the toolbar on internet explorer says subscription expired, when it's supposed to expire in January. It also says the firewall is disabled and I can only run Norton's full scan in safe mode. Is there anything I can do 'cause I used all my serial key's so I'm reluctant to try to re-install Norton. Thanks

Welcome to our community!
I think the first thing for you to do is to contact the helpful folks of Norton's Live Chat customer support staff, and see if they can help you sort out your subscription issue. They can typically straighten stuff like that out in no time flat, and then your product may simply start working again. From your description, I'm wondering if you may have gotten into a situation like I did a few years ago, where I had multiple subscriptions running and lost track of which computer was on which one.
If that doesn't help, then we're probably gonna need to do a remove-and-reinstall. But don't worry, Norton should recognize your computer as one of the installs you've already got authorized, and bring it right back. And again, should that fail, the folks at Live Chat can help. So Live Chat first, then follow the below if needed.
You will not have to pay for the program again, and your subscription days will automatically be recognized when you reinstall this way. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
This last step will reinstall Norton 360 and link it automatically to your existing subscription. You should now be back in business, protected by "the speed and power of Norton!"
