Unrelated issue. My Norton business suite through Comcast is not working for the spam folder. I tried the fix that was posted in Nov. for 360 ver. 5, but that did not work. There are no emails going into this folder (it does show the folder), even though the blocked email list is long. This problem happened after the upgraded install. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know of a fix? I'm using Outlook 2007 as provided by Comcast.

hi Inskaye
I'm sorry for your issue, do you have any other Comcast software installed on the system?
Which OS are you running?
thanks

Hi Inskaye.
Can you please kindly tell us how long your blocked e-mail list is and is this in NBS or Outlook 2007? Can you also please try to see if you still have the same problem without it for temporarily? I assume you have all the latest updates for Comcast Norton Business Suite, Windows, and MS Outlook/Office 2007. Another question is: Is it POP3 for the incoming e-mail server?
Thank you in advance. :)

Operating sys is windows 7, 64 bit. I do not use exchange server. The blocked list resides in NBS under "blocked list" and if I click on "configure", it shows a very long list arranged alphabetically. I get the updates automatically. Incoming mail is POP3. In Outlook, the Spam toolbar is present as well as the folder, but nothing goes into the folder unless I click on the button. When I do, the mail is moved to the folder, but it also shows it as "read", ie. it is no longer in bold letters. I have not disabled it. Outlook 2007 is up to date.

Please try the solution mentioned here and verify it for some days:

Thank you for your reply. This is the solution that I mentionned I tried. I did say Nov. instead of Dec. I suppose I could try it again. I did try it two separate times. Each time I waited for emails to arrive which would likely go into the folder. One way to more quickly test this is to select a file that is spam, but it is in your inbox, and is NOT read. Then select the "this is spam" button. Outlook does move this into the Norton spam folder, but it shows it as "read". I've got the anti spam still active and it has NOT found an email yet that comes from my blocked list.

Can you provide us the POP3 & SMTP ports that you are using for the Outlook?
AntiSpam may be able to work only if you use Standard POP3 & SMTP ports.
Thanks,
HarryP
