My friend has N360 Premier v5 (CD version) installed on his computer (Win 7 w/SP1, IE 9 rolled back to IE8). The safeweb part of the toolbar is greyed out and the identity safe button is missing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even tried the Norton removal tool, but still no go. IE8 says that the toolbars are enabled but even his homepage yahoo.com cannot be verified. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Yes they are enabled. One thing I noticed, is that when I click on setting in the norton toolbar, it does not bring the N360 window up like it is supposed to.

Hi,
Please run Liveupdate repeatedly to get all the latest update and check the behavior.

Had to run NRT twice and reset IE 8 settings before I got it to work. Not really sure what the problem was. Hopefully it still works after installing IE9.
