Norton Vulnerability Protection and Firefox

I am running Norton 360 premier ver 6.2.1.5. on Windows XP.  I am finally giving up on retaining the Google toolbar in Firefox , so I"m ready to update  from 4.01.  "Updates available" lists Firefox 12.0 (not the latest release - don't know why).  When I hit the update button, among the add-ons that are listed as incompatible with Firefox 12.0 is Norton Vulnerability Protection 10.1.0.68 - 1.  I don't know what to do.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi mmayers,

Please run Live Update,  rebooting where required,  until no more updates area available.  The latest release version of Firefox is 13.0.1.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks,  Dave.

Welcome

Start by manually running LiveUpdate a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are  available.

For Firefox, it may be because you are updating from such an old version. Do the update, then check for updates again. That should get you to 13.0.1.

Below are the current version numbers for the Toolbar and Vulnerability Protection.
