re-visit adobe and get the latest update,
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.c
have not seen what you experienced on any of the machines I have installed 360 V1 and V2 on.. however the flash player did have a security update of recent you should have. Since this installs over prior releases this should help.

I've got the same problem after updating norton 360 yesterday. And yes I have the latest flashversion. What's even worse is that somehow Norton has made it impossible to reverse the update. Great work Symantec...
Any thoughts? Solutions?

please first go here
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?ext
and advise what is reported.
If it as you expect then please go here
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/showcase/index.cfm?ev
and advise what is reported in the 2nd box down for flashplayer.
If you cannot see the flash screen, then try this
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?ext
I appreciate that this may mean you making changes to your IE7 but then you may have modified the defaults.
Can you
