Pop-up box in the bottom right of screen saying 'Your Free Norton Update Is Here" Virus?

Hello: There is a pop-up box in the bottom right of my screen titled Norton: Your Fee Norton Update Is Here. It reads as follows: Norton™ 360 is ready to be installed on your computer. This powerful new update is included in your current subscription. Click Start to experience amazing new performance and protection! To the right of the text, it has an image of a Norton 360 box, and a green start button under which it says "Estimated Install time: 1 min." At the very bottom left of the pop up, it says "Remind me later." I took of screenshot to capture it and I'll try to reproduce it below: PhotobucketIs this malware. I strongly suspect it is. I have run the Live Updates feature on Norton and, from what I can tell, my 360 is up to date (I have 5.2.1.3). If this is malware or whatever, how do I get rid of it? It is driving me mad? Thanks!

It's not malware; you are getting it because you are using an older version of 360 and can upgrade to the latest version for free.  The latest version is 6.2.1.5, not 5.3.1.3.

LiveUpdate can't update to a major version revision like 5.x to 6.x. If it had been 5.3 to 5.4, then yes, but not completely new versions.
