Problems with program control in Norton 360

Hi all,

 

I have a friend who has Norton 360 installed on their XP machine.  All seems good and no problems except when they try accessing the interent via a program rather than Internet Explorer.  They use a tax program that trys to connect to the interent in order to send tax returns to HMRC, but whenever they try the program comes back stating that it was unable to connect to the service.

 

In program control all separate elements (the exe files) have been set to allow so I can not see where else it is being blocked.  Can anyone help?

Did you have a look in the firewall section as well?
