Hello Kelly, And thanks for your interest..... My D drive is a CD/DVD device. I am using windows vista home premium with sp1.
I have used this drive to do the norton 360 backup before, all of a sudden it does not reconize the D drive. in fact it doesen't even give me the option of a D drive letter..... But it use to.
I hate the fact that I have to back up to the C, Hard drive in my computer and then transfer the backup to the D, CD/DVD drive manually.
By the way the D drive works in all other programs but the norton 360.
Thanks
Pete

Hi Pete,
Hope I am not interrupting here. Do you receive any error message which starts with 8701 when you perform a backup to CD/DVD? Or the scenario is that you do not see your DVD drive to perform a backup? If you receive any error message, please let me know.

Hi Vineeth, No error msg, Norton 360 just doesn't see the D drive or any other drive for that matter, Just the C drive or upload to Norton for storage.

The D drive is a CD/DVD and the C Drive is the hard drive on my computer
Thanks Vineeth

Hi all,
After reading the suggested Symantec Support artical, I´ve installed the latest GEAR drivers as
"Vineeth" has proposed.
After this update my N360 v3.0.0.134 setup is working without any issue as of this topic.
The only thing occured was a partially destroy DVD-RW disc and that I can easily stand.
Thanks for the support from all of you.
